It was back in 2001 and a normal day, house work to be done, dusting the lviing room, vacuuming. I decided to take a short break, and put a cd on to listen to. I selected "Stay with me" by Erasure, the lyrics go:-
Weep for me, and the sands of time will fill the ocean
Keep with me, 'till rays of sunshine fill the ocean
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion
Stand by me, and I will fill you with devotion
I suddenly started to thing of Jesus Christ, I was at that time trying to find my spiritual pathway,and did not and still do not follow christianity, and had been brought up a christian but not christened. I felt so full of emotion, and remembered that Jesus wanted us to weep for him, or thats how I percieved it at the time.
I remember crying and singing through most of the song.Completely immersed in emotion.
The track finished and I concentrated with my house work again, dusting again when suddenly a being of bright light appeared next to me. It was such a surprise that I remember jumping a few inches in the air. I knew that this being was another soul, but where it came from or who it was, I did not know.
As soon as I turned to look at it,I viewed it for a second, and then it just disappeared.
It has puzzled me for many years as to who it could have been.
I recently pulled myself a tarot card asking who and why it happened.
The answer...."The Ace of cups card" Pure love.
