Joseph is here again with a poem that was written a few years ago at a time that i had needed to go away to continue my spiritual journey. Those i left behind wished for me to go, but to also stay. For in the going we all knew they would lose even more of me to my spiritual needs. It was quite a hard time for all of us. Hope you enjoy as "I do now"
Hold me in your arms and tell me you love me, for I love you
Hold me in your arms and then let me go for we always did know
This time we face is not out of place but could we ever understand
These emotions now so close to hand
I need to go but wish to stay, you want me here but wish me away
Dear lord it do hurt us so for me to go
So hold me in your memories, hold me in your heart
Hold me in your thoughts and we will never be apart
Give me a thought each day and I will not be to far away
So put me in your dreams each night and I will be there to hold you tight
Now one more hug and I must go but never forget I love you so
